Stan: Be respectful and learn from your mistakes and
get out asap.
JM: If somebody knows they will be serving time in this jail what is your advice to them?
Stan: Don't go to jail, go to school, make a life for
yourself and family.

recommendation for future inmate? yea, tell everyone you know, family and friends, to stop voting for these crooked judges and sheriffs. if pot were legal more than half of the "criminals" in county could be living happy lives. jail is a horrible experience, and it usually does more harm than good. in the words of president jimmy carter "PENALTIES AGAINST POSSESSION OF A DRUG SHOULD NOT BE MORE DAMAGING TO AN INDIVIDUAL THAN THE USE OF THE DRUG ITSELF; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marijuana in private for personal use... Therefore, I support legislation amending Federal law to eliminate all Federal criminal penalties for the possession of up to one ounce [28g] of marijuana."

If you owe the jail money, will you be allowed to keep any for commisary?

If you've been sued for room and board they will take almost all of the money put into your account. One guy got $40 put in and was left with $5.
