JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Stan: Normal jail clothing; for me black and white
stripes!
JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Stan: no
JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?

can I mail clothing to an inmate if it is new and white?

NO. Inmates can't receive any thing in the mail except for letters and pictures. Clothing, toiletries, etc must be bought off commissary.

Can I send reading material to someone if it is new in the macomb county jail?

why would they want to make it easy for humans to aquire simple reading material? they want the criminals to suffer. the guards have been known to take inmates blankets and open the windows along the hallway when the weather outside is below freezing! you think they would allow prisoners to expand their knowledge... afterall, the criminals are just dirt to them
